HAZARD AWARENESS TRAINING INDUSTRIAL
Two day Course
This practical workshop will help managers, supervisors and Joint Health and Safety Committee members develop skills to recognize, evaluate and control hazards.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this workshop participants will understand the legal duties of managers, supervisors, workers and Joint Health and Safety committee members to recognize, assess and control workplace hazards.
WORKSHOP OUTLINE:
During the workshop participants will:
- Discuss techniques currently used in-house to identify and report workplace hazards.
- Assess current in-house hazard evaluation and control techniques.
- Develop a Hazard/Incident Reporting Procedure to encourage workers to report all actual and potential hazards to their supervisors.
- Review and suggest improvements to the process for correcting and controlling hazards.
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion and a copy of all training material utilized.
This is a two day course.
