Hoisting & Rigging
The course is designed for those workers working in and around mobile cranes bridge cranes up to 8 tons.
This course covers the occupational health and safety Act and its Regulations for operating cranes.
- Rigging and hoisting.
- Hand signals,
- safe operating of hoisting and rigging of loads
- hazards that are associated with using equipment,
- determining the load using formulas Working Load Limit (WLL).
- Cover the components and equipment used and the use of a signaller and their duties.
Remember crane operator has full control when lifting loads using cranes.
This course is a 4 hour course.
