Supervisors on Construction Projects Certification
This is a two day course and is intended for supervisors in the performance of their duties on Construction Projects. The course material covered will also help potential and acting supervisors the tools necessary to be proactive when it comes to the protection of workers on site.
Course will cover
- legal responsibilities for supervisors and other parties
- Planning
- How to read and apply the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations that apply to construction projects.
- communication
- good practices of having a comprehensive health and safety program in place
- new and young worker orientation
- site emergencies and accident investigations
- injuries and fatalities
- includes copy of the most recent OHSA and Regulations for Construction Projects (green book).
After successful completion participants with a passing grade of 80% or more will receive certification certificate and a wallet size card.
